MEMBERSHIP POLICY
Effective Date: August 2025
Applies To: All active members of The Fidalgo Club
1. Membership & Access

Membership is required to use The Fidalgo Club facilities, including simulators, putting green, arcade, lounge, and event spaces.

Membership options include Single and Full Group (household) plans, available monthly or annually.

Members must be 18+ to hold an account; minors may use the club under the supervision of an adult member.

Members receive 24/7 access via the club’s secure entry system. Access credentials (key fob, card, or code) are personal and may not be shared outside the member’s household.

Annual memberships are billed upfront and include two months free.
-
Memberships are non-transferable and may not be sold or given away.
2. Payment & Billing

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards.
-
Monthly memberships auto-renew each month; annual memberships auto-renew each year unless canceled.

It is the member’s responsibility to ensure payment methods are valid and up to date.
-
Late payments may result in suspension of access until payment is received.
3. Guest Policy
-
Guests are permitted only when a guest pass has been purchased and approved by the Club Director.

All guests must be accompanied by a current member during their visit.
-
The sponsoring member is fully responsible for their guest’s behavior and adherence to all club policies.

Guest passes are valid for the approved date only and cannot be transferred.

The Club reserves the right to deny guest pass requests at its discretion.
4. Conduct & Community Standards

The Fidalgo Club is a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Members must treat staff, fellow members, guests, and equipment with respect.
-
Alcohol is permitted only in designated areas and must comply with Washington State laws.
5. Equipment Usage & Care

Members must use equipment only for its intended purpose.
-
Any damage, malfunction, or unsafe condition must be reported to staff immediately.
-
Repeated misuse may result in suspension or termination of membership.
-
Members may not alter simulator settings or hardware without staff approval.
6. Security & Access Control
-
The club is equipped with 24/7 video surveillance in common areas to ensure safety, security, and policy compliance.

Members may not allow unauthorized individuals to enter the club.
-
Lost or stolen access devices must be reported immediately; replacement fees may apply.
7. Booking & Simulator Use
-
Our two Garmin R50 simulators — themed “Augusta National” and “St. Andrews” — are available for up to 2 hours per reservation.
-
Reservations must be made through the member booking system.
-
If a member is more than 15 minutes late for a booking, the time may be forfeited to drop-in play.
-
Drop-in play is encouraged when simulators are open, and members may join other players if invited.
8. Events & Programs
-
Weekly and monthly events include leagues, tournaments, clinics, family nights, and social mixers.
-
Some events require advance registration and/or additional fees, which will be clearly stated.
9. Family & Kids Area
-
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult member.
-
The kids’ area and arcade are for recreational use; unsafe play or roughhousing is prohibited.
10. Facility Rules
-
Food and drink are allowed in lounge areas but not on simulator turf or putting surfaces.
-
Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.
-
Personal clubs may be stored on-site only with management approval.
11. Health & Safety
-
Members must follow posted safety signs and staff instructions.
-
Members must not engage in play if intoxicated or under the influence of drugs/alcohol to a point of unsafe behavior.

In case of emergency, members should follow evacuation procedures and notify staff.
12. Privacy, Photo & Social Media Policy
-
By entering The Fidalgo Club premises, members and guests consent to the potential use of their name, likeness, and image in photographs, videos, and other media taken during events, activities, or general club use.

These images may be used for promotional purposes on the club’s website, social media platforms, print materials, or advertising, without compensation.
-
Members who do not wish to appear in promotional media should notify staff in writing.
13. Data Collection & Use

Member personal information and booking data are collected for club operations, billing, and communications.
-
Data will not be sold or shared outside the club’s operations without consent, except as required by law.
14. Liability & Assumption of Risk
-
Members acknowledge that golf, arcade, and recreational activities carry inherent risks.
-
By entering the premises, members and their guests voluntarily assume all risks and release The Fidalgo Club, its owners, and staff from liability for injury, loss, or damage.
15. Dispute Resolution
-
Any disputes will be resolved first through mediation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration in Skagit County, Washington.
-
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
16. Membership Changes & Cancellation
-
The Fidalgo Club reserves the right to amend this policy, adjust hours, or modify services with reasonable notice to members.
-
Monthly memberships may be canceled with 30 days’ notice.
-
Annual memberships are non-refundable after the first 30 days.
-
Membership may be suspended or revoked for violations of this policy without refund.
17. Private Bookings
-
Private bookings of simulators, lounge areas, or other club spaces are available only with prior approval from the Club Director.
-
All private bookings will incur a rental fee, which will be disclosed and agreed to in advance.
-
Private bookings may have set time limits and availability restrictions based on club operations.
-
Members hosting private bookings are responsible for ensuring all attendees follow The Fidalgo Club policies.
-
The Club reserves the right to decline any private booking request.
